Poems

I Am

The sun is dark
Here in the shadows
As dark as the midnight
I like them–
No heat
Only me
I see in
I see.

No more shadows–
The phoney shadows.
The clumsy silhouette;
Black and blue
Following till they disappear.

Am I a psychopath or the sun?
To think I am
I am
There is only me
I am
Not a sick philosopher–
The energy;
Strenuous vitality
I am.

  1. A refreshing blog. Enjoyed your Echo–it reminds me of my experience in Psalms 139:

    Your [infinite] knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high above me, I cannot reach it.
    Where could I go from Your Spirit? Or where could I flee from Your presence?
    If I ascend up into heaven, You are there;
    if I make my bed in Sheol (the place of the dead), behold, You are there. [Rom 11:33]
    If I take the wings of the morning or dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, Even there shall Your hand lead me, and Your right hand shall hold me.
    If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me and the night shall be [the only] light about me, Even the darkness hides nothing from You, but the night shines as the day; the darkness and the light are both alike to You. [Dan 2:22]
    (Psalms 139:6-12)

    I’m following the Spirit within us. Much love, thiaBasilia 🙂
